We usually aim to get back to you on the same day however during our busy season towards Christmas it may take a little longer to respond to you. Our busiest period usually begins October through to mid December.


Covid-19

It's been a very strange year so far and we're not sure how this Christmas will be affected, if at all, by the pandemic. We've followed HM Government advice and have been fortunate that we've been able to continue working in a single location as a work bubble. We also took the decision not to trade at any show or event this year and will only be selling Christmas crackers online through this website.

Our suppliers delivered their products during September and early October and we then store until we need them for the Christmas crackers you order. The lastest advice and research suggests the virus remains viable on surfaces for relatively short periods of time, so we think the time between September and November is sufficient to reduce the potential for any onward transmission.

To reduce outside contact to a minimum we intend to take orders to the Post Office twice weekly. As we have done in previous years we'll keep you updated by email with the status of your Christmas cracker order.

Do you make every single Christmas cracker by hand?

Yes we do, we have a machine that cuts the cracker for us, then we decorate and fill the cracker by hand.

What's inside the Christmas cracker?

Inside every cracker you'll get a hat and joke as standard. You then choose if you'd like one end left open so that you may fill the cracker with your gift. Alternatively you could choose from our paper puzzle, handmade chocolates or premium gifts option. You can find out more about these options on our Christmas Cracker Contents page.

I want to mix up the contents in the same order, can I do that?

Yes you can. You simply use the drop down menu next to the product details and choose the content type you'd like, along with the quantity you need.

I want the same chocolates in my Christmas crackers is that possible?

Subject to us having stock then yes we'll do our best to accommodate your specific request. Please email us straight after placing your order asking us to do this, we'll then check our chocolate stock and let you know.

I want specific premium gifts in my Christmas crackers is that possible?

Subject to us having stock then yes we'll do our best to accommodate your specific request. Please email us straight after placing your order asking us to do this, we'll then check the premium gift stock and let you know.

I want a specific number of Christmas crackers is that possible?

Yes, we feel that helps make use different. You can order one Christmas cracker or as many as you need. Just use the quantity selection next to the product details.

I tried to order a specific quantity of my preferred design on your website and it keeps taking me back to the Christmas Crackers page!

We use PayPal to manage our ordering and payments system. We do our best to keep an eye on the stock quantity it lists however there are times, especially during our peak Christmas season when orders are coming in quicker than we can update PayPal. Please email or telephone us and we'll be able to confirm if we have card stock and/or contents to fulfil your order.

I don't have a PayPal account, will I still be able to buy Christmas crackers from your website?

Yes. You don't need a PayPal account to make a payment, any debit or credit card can be used.

Do you store my credit card details?

No, we use PayPal to manage payments you won't actually be using our website to make a payment. You'll notice when you click on your Christmas cracker selection it adds this to 'your cart' and then when you're ready to pay you'll go through to PayPal which is a secure website for making payment.

How long have you been trading?

We've been around since 2010, we started trading at craft fairs and shows. When it became clear that our Christmas crackers were the best sellers, and people said they liked our approach to the environment especially with regards to plastic, we started to sell online.

How have you managed to avoid single-use plastic in your Christmas crackers?

We've been passionate about reducing our impact especially single-use plastic from day one. It was the main reason we came up with paper puzzles for the contents. We spend a lot of time sourcing cracker content suppliers who share our mission to eradicate single-use plastic from Christmas crackers.

I see some stores sell a box of crackers for £5 sometimes less, how come you don't?

Many of these are not made in the UK, and most often they contain plastic contents. While they may be cheap to make there is an impact on the environment as oil based plastic breaks down in the environment into micro plastic and potentially enters the food chain.

How are the Christmas crackers packaged and delivered?

We use cardboard boxes and tissue paper to package your Christmas cracker order as these can both be easily recycled. If you're feeling really crafty you can upcycle the box into something useful like storage. We send them out through Royal Mail using our local Post Office.

How long will it take to receive my Christmas cracker order?

Remember we handmake your Christmas crackers so please allow at least a week especially in the build up to Christmas when we get really busy.

What do I do if I want to return them?

Obviously we're really hopeful that you won't want to do that. If you do decide to, we ask that the crackers be returned in all original packaging and are not damaged or have been pulled. As long as they meet this condition we'll provide a full refund on return.

I ordered a certain number of crackers and seem to be missing one or some?

We work really hard to ensure we make and send the exact number of crackers you ordered. If we make a mistake please get in touch and let us know. We'll make up the missing quantity and post as quickly as possible.

I really liked what you made and sent, however I have an extra guest/guests coming and I need more!

As long as we have stock we can make additional crackers, just order what you need on the website.
